Subdomain Hosting

All subdomain hostees will receive:

  • 1 url (you.6birds.net or 6birds.net/you)
  • 1 MySQL Database
  • 1 e-mail address (if you would like for your mail to be forwarded to your current e-mail address, just say so)
  • 100MB-250MB disk space (if needed, more will be given)
  • FanUpdate or WordPress pre-installed

As a hostee, you should:

  • not publish anything illegal to your site (pornography, profanity, warez, bullying, racism, illegal programs, free program license numbers, etc.).
  • always have a link back to 6birds.net as your host.
  • always make your own layouts.
  • update frequently (at least twice each month).
  • not use any redirections.
  • have a commenting system (or contact form if owning a portfolio) so visitors can contact you for communication or errors.

Before applying, make sure you are:

  • familiar with HTML
  • familiar with FTP
  • 13 years of age or older
